We are very excited today to announce the release of some new Kauffman research on high-growth firms. The press release summary is here. These papers, maps, and charts look at the location of Inc. 500 firms and Inc. 500 founders over time. The Inc. 500 is a list of the fastest-growing private firms in the United States maintained by Inc. magazine. Significantly, this research is one of the first comprehensive efforts I am aware of to detail high-growth firm activity at the metropolitan area level.
