Here are Mike Moritz of Sequoia and Paul Graham of Y-Combinator talking early-stage investing. There is lots of the usual discussion of board meetings, VCs, and passion, but the subject that really seemed to set people off, and a subject near and dear to Kauffman's heart, was age and the entrepreneur. Watch the whole thing, as the age comes up repeatedly, but pay special attention at the end when some older entrepreneurs, i.e., 25+(!), force Moritz to take them and the issue more seriously.
