Makes you wonder what would happen if housing got a lot cheaper … wouldn’t that make Americans’ purchasing power stronger?

It makes me wonder... at what point should I sell my house and go back to renting.
The money saved on maintenance could probably be invested for a higher return than Real Estate.

Wouldn't this make an interesting "GapMinder" style presentation with a time dimension. We could watch all those pieces grow and shrink. Maybe taxes should be added as a counter point?
